Greetings from the Indian Institute of Management Raipur!!
At the outset, we sincerely thank all our corporate partners for taking part in our endeavor to develop vibrant corporate relations and recruitment engagement. In the volatile, complex, non-linear, and fast-evolving landscape across businesses and organizations, it remains imperative that future business leaders and managers not just imbibe the tenets of working in a fast-evolving landscape but also constantly challenge themselves to assimilate disruption and continuously learn, unlearn, and relearn. The focus also remains on value creation for the organizations and stakeholders at large, while at the same time being receptive to ethical and social considerations.
Given this background, we at IIM Raipur have blended our program structure, pedagogical aspects, and macro & micro elements of courses in such a way that this results in a win-win for both the institution and the corporate partners. Our academic ecosystem equips students with future-ready hard skills such as analytical & creative thinking, technology literacy, data-driven decision making, digital transformation, etc. While expertise in hard skills remains important, honing the soft skills and attitudes such as entrepreneurial mindset, effective communication, teamwork & collaboration, and leadership remains another priority area for IIM Raipur. Additionally, we also acknowledge that the students remain deeply conscious of the ethical and social considerations, particularly in the real world, and are guided by values and ethics at large.
Anchored to the aforementioned foundations, to make the student community for future-ready managerial and leadership roles, there are various interventions that IIM Raipur has adopted and continues to integrate. For instance, given the rigorous program structure, we designed an extensive corporate engagement program for experiential learning. We devote nearly 200 classroom hours in direct engagements and experience-sharing sessions by C-level executives from various organizations every year. Such exposure equips students with current industry trends and deep insights. We also emphasize live projects outside of the classroom so that students can deeply appreciate the challenges and nuances of the corporate world before starting their journey. With our MBA graduates making significant contributions across diverse industry verticals & roles and at various leadership levels, we strongly believe that our MBA program offers one of the best talent pools.
