PROGRAMME OVERVIEW

The Chief Minister’s Good Governance Fellowship (CMGGF) is a flagship initiative of the Government of Chhattisgarh, declared by Hon’ble Chief Minister in November 2024. The programme aims to attract young professional to contribute to governance and policy implementation, enhancing administrative efficiency and impact. The programme is exclusively for Chhattisgarh-domiciled candidates, ensuring local talent is nurtured for the state’s development. The programme is structured as a partnership between IIM Raipur and Department of Good Governance and Convergence, the Government of Chhattisgarh. Students will have the unique opportunity for regular interaction (Samvad) with the Hon’ble Chief Minister, enabling them to share insights, present project outcomes, and contribute directly to governance initiatives.

FEATURES

  • Full Sponsorship: The Government of Chhattisgarh will sponsor the entire tuition fee for selected candidates.
  • Generous Stipend: Each enrolled student will receive a ₹50,000 per month stipend.
  • Unparalleled Exposure: The programme integrates (a) classroom learning at IIM Raipur, and (b) Real-world governance experience in key administrative offices such as State Departments and Disctrict Collectorate.
  • Career Advantage: Graduates will gain the expertise and network to excel in public policy roles, governance consulting, and leadership positions in government and private sector.

  • Mode: Blended learning with in-person sessions at IIM Raipur and practical governance work with Chhattisgarh Government.
  • Selection based on CAT scores, group discussion (GD), and/or interview process
