About the program

The Executive Master of Business Administration (eMBA) at IIM Raipur is a two-year postgraduate degree programme for working professionals seeking to strengthen their managerial and leadership capability. Delivered through live online classes and on-campus immersion modules, the curriculum moves from managerial foundations, through functional integration and strategic decision-making, to specialisation and an applied project on a real organisational problem. Artificial intelligence, digital technologies, sustainability, and ethical leadership are embedded across the curriculum. On successful completion, participants are awarded the degree of Master of Business Administration (MBA) by IIM Raipur.

How Baskets Work:

  • Baskets are allotted based on participants’ ranked preferences.
  • A basket is offered subject to minimum enrolment.

Participants may also audit additional electives (non-credit; a separate fee applies).

Capstone Project / Action Research Project

In the Mini Term, every participant addresses a real organisational problem under the guidance of a faculty mentor, integrating learning from across the programme and developing evidence-based managerial recommendations. Where the project is undertaken within the participant’s own organisation, an industry mentor may also be assigned.

Beyond the Classroom (optional, non-credit)

  • City Chapters: one- to two-day industry and networking engagements in selected cities, including CXO workshops, roundtables, corporate visits, and alumni sessions.
  • International Campus Immersion: International Campus Immersion: an opportunity for global academic and industry exposure in the second year. The destination and its viability are determined by geographic location, currency and cost considerations, and the number of interested participants. The immersion fee is payable separately and is not part of the programme fee.

The eMBA is designed for working professionals. IIM Raipur does not provide placement assistance for this programme.

Course titles, credit allocation, sequencing, and elective offerings may be revised by the Institute and will be notified before the commencement of the relevant term.
