Hostel & Mess Committee-IIM Raipur

The Hostel and Mess Committee (H&M) plays a crucial role in ensuring the seamless operation of hostel and dining services at IIM Raipur. Operating under the guidance of the Chief Administrative Officer (CAO), the committee serves as a vital link between the student community and campus administration.

Roles and responsibilities:

Acts as a liaison between students and stakeholders including the administration, mess contractors, and hostel authorities.
Addresses student concerns by collecting grievances related to hostel infrastructure, housekeeping, and mess services, and coordinating timely resolution with relevant departments.
Monitors the day-to-day functioning of hostel and mess facilities to maintain a high standard of living and hygiene.
Ensures that the student community enjoys a comfortable and enriching residential experience on campus
Initiates and organizes engaging events to foster community bonding and provide students with avenues for recreation and cultural exchange.
Collaborates with other clubs and committees to ensure the smooth execution of interdisciplinary and institute-wide events.

Known as one of the most awaited and high-energy events at IIM Raipur, FLAVA is a celebration of fun, food, and friendly competition — with exciting delicacies and prizes up for grabs.
UTSAV: A vibrant celebration of Indian culinary and cultural diversity, UTSAV brings the entire campus alive with region-wise delicacies, soulful music, and cultural performances. Students get to experience the rich flavors of India while cultural performances from across the country. UTSAV is more than just a food fest — it's a tribute to India’s multicultural spirit and a testament to IIM Raipur’s inclusive ethos.
