ePGP Admission 2021-23

Admission Policy for Executive Post Graduate Programme in Management (ePGP) 2021 (Batch 2)

IIM Raipur looks for a diverse group of participants. Candidates could be from private sector, public sector, governmental departments, NGOs etc. They could also be professionals e.g. Doctors, Architects, Consultants, Defense Personnel or Entrepreneurs.


About the Programme

Executive Post Graduate Programme (ePGP) is about two year post graduate programme offered on E-Learning platform.

 

1.0 Eligibility

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in any discipline, awarded by any of the recognized universities and minimum 2 years of post-qualification full-time managerial/entrepreneurial/professional work experience as on 1st July 2021. Minimum requirement as per different categories is given in Table 1.

2.0 Admission Process

 

2.1 Definition of International Candidates

International candidates are foreign nationals, or Indian nationals who are living, working, or studying outside India, with valid passport or travel document residing outside India for at least 180 days from the date of application submitted for admission to ePGP of IIM Raipur.

2.2 Shortlisting Process

Merely fulfilling the eligibility criteria does not imply that the candidate is qualified to be called for an interview. However, the Institute reserves the right to decide the numbers of times the candidates to be called for an interview. 

2.3 Final Selection

The final composite score is computed based on two parameters, viz., Personal Interview (50%) and Profile (50%). The detail of weightage in each parameter is provided in Table 2.

Personal Interview:

The candidate has to appear before an interview panel. The candidate will be evaluated on 5 parameters namely, Richness of Industry Experience, Communication Skills, Leadership Aptitude, Team Spirit and Ethical Orientation.

 

Profile:

Academic Profile: Academic profile weights are based on the percentage of marks that the candidate obtained during his/her 12th Standard/Equivalent and Graduation, which is given in Table 3.

*Note: Percentage to be calculated for all the subjects that appears in the mark sheet irrespective of method of calculation by respective board/institute/universities.

 

**The percentage of marks obtained by the candidate would be calculated based on the practice as followed by the respective University/Institution. In case of grades / CGPA, the conversion to percentage of marks would be based on the procedure as certified by the respective University/ Institution. If any University/Institution confirms that there is no scheme for converting CGPA into equivalent marks, the equivalence would be established by dividing the candidate’s CGPA by the maximum possible CGPA and multiplying the result with 100. The candidate has to submit the conversion certificate issued by the University/institution.

Work Experience: The distribution of weightage in relation to experience is given in Table 4.

* Only relevant work experience after graduation in terms of completed months will be considered. Candidate should ensure that the work experience claimed by the candidate is authentic and professionally significant enough to deserve credit. For instance, no consideration is given to any time spent as an intern, either during or after the course of study in a programme, or any periods of apprenticeship such as articleship required as part of certain professional courses, or any unpaid work undertaken in any organization or institution.

The work experience will be verified based on the relevant documents (including experience certificate, appointment or reliving letter, first and last month pay slips, bank statement etc.), which needs to be mandatorily produced by the candidate at the time of PA and subsequent admission related process. Note that the work experience certificate should be furnished on a letter head of the employer organisation, should carry a seal of the employer and be duly affirmed by the authorized signatory.

 

Gender Diversity: Gender diversity aims to ensure the balance between gender. To achieve this objective, IIM Raipur provides four (4) marks to the female candidates.

Academic Diversity: IIM Raipur strives to promote the academic diversity by providing four (4) marks for non-engineering graduates. The qualifying degrees for obtaining academic diversity is given in Appendix-1.

2.4 Reservation Policy:

IIM Raipur will apply the Government of India reservation policy for admission to Central Educational Institutions (CEIs).

    

2.5 Offer Acceptance fee and withdrawal policy

Offer Acceptance Fee to be paid within required date stated in the admission offer letter by paying ₹ 50,000 through IIM Raipur payment portal. A candidate who wishes to withdraw from the program before withdrawal date specified by the Institute, he/she will be refunded the acceptance fee after deduction of Rs.1000 as a processing fee. Note that refunding the fee for foreign candidates will be processed in INR only. A candidate who withdraws after the withdrawal date specified by the institute, he/she will be paid after deducting the applicable charges, if the seat is filled, else, the entire fee is forfeited.

5. Important Note

This admission policy applies only to the ePGP selection process for 2021-23 (Batch 2). Please note that IIM Raipur reserves the rights to modify the shortlisting, interview criteria and final selection at any point of time till the admission of the 2021-23 batch completed.

Any dispute concerning admissions to the ePGP 2021-23 (Batch 2) would be subject to the jurisdiction of the competent courts within the territorial jurisdiction of the city of Raipur only.
