The Career Development and Placement Office at IIM Raipur is a student driven body, which under the guidance of Chairman Placement Dr. Rashmi Shukla, is responsible for the holistic development of students’ careers and establishment of strong and sustainable corporate relations. We aim to increase corporate engagements through various platforms such as guest lectures, corporate interactions, summits and numerous other confluences.

As the executive members of this committee, we are responsible for administering the visit of organizations on campus and acting as facilitators for the smooth handling of the placement process. We are the sole body responsible for the primary contact of institution with corporates.

Guest Lectures:

Trailblazer, our flagship guest lecture series, forms the nucleus of all the corporate associations and provides a platform for the interaction of students with industry stalwarts. This provides students with live insights into how businesses are being transformed throughout the world.

Prestigious organizations from diverse industries that have participated in Trailblazer are Amazon, BSE, Eveready, Frost & Sullivan, ITC, Yes Bank, Nielsen and TCS to name a few.

Summer and Final placements:

IIM Raipur stands tall with its talent pool of budding global leaders and has fortified its reputation as one of the leading management institutes in the country. IIM Raipur persevered not only in the pursuit of academic excellence but also remained the preferred choice of talent for recruiters. This year’s placement season witnessed recurring participation from our established recruiters, showcasing the faith shown by the industry stalwarts in the budding business leaders of the institute. The highlight of the season was the participation of many new recruiters, which demonstrates the growing stature of talent present in the institute that is required in the business world.

Leadership Summit:

The Leadership Summit, first of its kind confluence of senior leaders in the industry, was graced by the presence of 26 dignitaries from diverse sectors and domains across the corporate world. The objective of the event was to provide an opportunity to students to learn from the rich experience and unique perspectives of the leaders on the theme “Leadership Challenges in Emerging Markets”.
