Dr. Prakriti Soral is a faculty in the area of HRM & Organizational Behavior at the Indian Institute of Management, Raipur. Prior to joining IIM Raipur, she served as a faculty at the Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Indore. She has done her Ph.D. from the Indian Institute of Management, Kozhikode, in the Organizational Behavior & Human Resource Management area. Her Ph.D. thesis focuses on the deflection and destigmatization of occupational stigma. Her key research interests include occupational stigma, identity work, coping, and affirmations. Her doctoral thesis was shortlisted for the Relevant and Responsible Research Award at the European Academy of Management (EURAM) doctoral conference, held at Winterthur, Switzerland.
She has published in international journals of repute such as the British Journal of Management (ABS 4), Information & Management (ABDC A*), Human Resource Management Review, Management Information Review, Journal of Business Research, Australasian Journal of Information Systems (All categorized A as per ABDC categorization), etc. She presented her research work at reputed international conferences of the Academy of Management (AOM) at Seattle, USA, and the British Academy of Management (BAM) at Manchester, UK. She is a regular reviewer for many reputed international journals.
