ABOUT IIM RAIPUR:

INVITATION FOR THE POST OF DIRECTOR:
IIM Raipur is seeking an outstanding academic leader with demonstrated administrative and institutional leadership experience for the position of Director. The Director provides academic leadership and administration to the Institute under the overall guidance of a highly distinguished Board of Governors. The Director of IIM Raipur would have the responsibility to execute the Vision and Mission of the Institute and bring it up to global standards.
MINIMUM ELIGIBILITY CONDITIONS:
Applications for the post of Director, IIM Raipur are invited from distinguished professionals and academic administrators who possess the following eligibility criteria:
• The applicant should be a distinguished academic with a first-class degree in both Bachelor’s and Master’s level, and with a Ph.D. or equivalent from a reputed institute having at least fifteen years of teaching or research experience; and
• The applicant should have worked as a full-time Professor at a reputed institution for at least seven years; or should have industry experience at a higher level for at least fifteen years.
(This experience will be reckoned as on the last date of application.)
• The applicant should be an Indian Citizen or an Overseas Citizen of India (OCI).
The Search-Cum-Selection Committee (SCSC) will consider applications fulfilling the above criteria, received in response to this advertisement. The SCSC can also conduct its own search process to get applications from persons who fulfil the above-mentioned criteria.
The appointment process shall be as per the provisions of the IIM Act 2017 and IIM Rules 2018, as amended from time to time.
TERMS OF APPOINTMENT:
The Director shall hold office for five years or till he/she completes the age of 70 years, whichever is earlier.

SELECTION PROCESS:
The Search-Cum-Selection Committee (SCSC), constituted by the Board of Governors, will review applications received and shortlist candidates. The SCSC reserves full discretion in shortlisting candidates and may invite nominations or applications beyond those received in response to this advertisement.
Shortlisted candidates will be required to present their vision for IIM Raipur, and undergo interactions, reference checks, and a leadership assessment process.
